but what you can do for your county. It appears that the
Republican Party is again buying your government for another four years.
With the massive influx of Ivory Dollars, his election appears all but
certain. We must find a way to control the developer mentality of this
group. Total control of the county government by one party will most
assuredly return the same unchecked rule. The council must act as a check
to make our new system work. We didn’t have a check for the last four
years, scandal after scandal. Do we want that again? The council must not
again be a rubber stamp for the mayor.
I ask for your vote to insure a three party diversity in the county
council.

the top down. We
need a council that acts as a check on the Mayor, not a rubber stamp. Past
ethical violations, exorbitant salaries and cronyism on the part of county officials,
helps show the lack of
oversight on the part of the Republican controlled council.

With the withdrawal of Steven Shamy from the District 2 race, the SL
Tribune says that the Republican incumbent is a shoo-in. THIS MUST NOT
HAPPEN. With a little support, (endorsement) from the Democrats, we can
give Mayor Corroon a new council, including a Personal Choice watchdog.
