Food For Thought 

The recent confirmation of J Leon Holmes of Ar. only adds to the Whore we face with regards to Personal Choice. When the Bible (not sure which one) is read on the senate floor as grounds to authorize the degrading of women, we need help. When laws of our country are written and enforced to comply with religious doctrine, WASHINGTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM.

My question to the religious right and other followers of that persuasion is?? Has your faith in your chosen religion slipped so low that you need governmental laws, not church rules, to require YOU to follow your faith? Or are you trying to require me to follow your religious teachings.

I feel every effort available must be taken to stop the present day attacks on our freedom. Tuesday's action by Senator Hatch and the statements by Senator Santorum and his fellow hypocrites must be stopped at all costs. The action of this group of religious zealots is reminiscent of the Joe McCarthy era. We surely don't want to revisit that time in history.
